About The Artist
We Are Band Nerds (WABN) is a six-piece Nu Metal band from Dallas, Texas. Self-proclaimed “Leaders of the Nu ,” they bring a modern twist to the classic genre with explosive stage energy, genre-bending sounds, and a raw, unapologetic style.
Their debut album Forget Me Not’s (2018) features the singles Whore, Savage, and Fade Away, exploring themes of personal growth, depression, trust, and relationships. Their earlier single “Zombie” has surpassed 600,000+ views on YouTube, showcasing the band’s aggressive sound and lyrical depth.
Blending cypher-ready rap bars, melodic hooks, and crushing rock riffs, WABN has earned appearances at major events like Afro Punk Festival and the legendary ShipRocked Cruise. Fans often describe their sound as “ if Deftones, Korn , Travis Scott, and Outkast had a baby.”
Beyond the music, WABN’s lyrics dive into real-world themes—relationships, social issues, class struggle, and shining a poetic perspective of an artist on the American Dream.
Currently WABN is working on a new project, due to be released in 2026.
